Preview of next month’s books now in

It’s just two weeks  to go before our next changeover, the complete restock of the basement at Quinto Bookshop, and we’ve got some books from October’s stock on sale already in the shop to give you a sneak preview of the kind of thing coming in.

There’s a big collection of beautiful Victorian and Edwardian cookery and household management books, some early Tarzan pulp fiction and some other great literature and history.

The rest of October’s newly acquired secondhand stock will be on sale from Tuesday 5th October.

New books in every day at Quinto Bookshop

If you’re a regular customer at Quinto Bookshop, you may know that every month we completely restock our basement, clearing out any books that haven’t sold and bringing in books recently acquired by our buyers. You may also know that in the past we also received regular ‘top-up’ deliveries of new stock on a Thursday.

We’ve decided to slightly change the way we do things – we’ll still be having our monthly changeover as normal, but instead of one weekly top-up, we’ll now be adding new stock to the shelves on most days during the month. That means that whenever you pop in to Quinto, there should be new books on the shelves to entice you.

Sundials, mathematics and telegraphy?

There are some unusual subjects going out onto the shelves this week, including books on sundials, the history of maths, and some interesting old titles on telegraphy.

There’ll be plenty of new stock going out on the shelves every day this week, and this month our prices are fantastic value, so pop in for a chance to find a bargain.

Secondhand thinking at Quinto Bookshop

There’s a great range of recent philosophy books available this month at Quinto Bookshop, all in good condition at great secondhand prices with selections of books on particular philosophers from Plato to Isiah Berlin and A.C. Grayling.

We had a large delivery of new secondhand stock in yesterday, which is going out on the shelves over the next few days. If you can’t wait to get your hands on it, come and have a rummage through the boxes as we unpack.
