Quinto is in the basement of Francis Edwards at number 72, Charing Cross Road, London WC2H 0BB. We have a long history on Charing Cross Road, once known as the “street of bookshops”.

Tube: The nearest tube is Leicester Square on the Picadilly line. Leave the station via exit 2, then turn right up Charing Cross Road. We are about 2 minutes walk away, at number 72.

Bus: Bus routes 29, 24 and 176 pass outside the shop, with routes 19, 38, 14 and several others stopping nearby.

Our move from 48a to 72 Charing Cross Road

In March 2010, Quinto Bookshop and Francis Edwards Antiquarian Booksellers moved premises. Our new shop is very near the old location and is still on Charing Cross Road.

In 2009 we were notified by landlords the Soho Housing Association (SHA) that the lease on our old premises at 48a Charing Cross Road would not be renewed due to redevelopment plans for the site. After several months of uncertainty, a new lease was agreed on another SHA shop premises at number 72 Charing Cross Road, just a few doors away from the old shop.

We were sad to leave number 48a; the premises has been a bookshop for over a hundred years so a piece of London history went with us. But we’re very glad that we’re still in business on Charing Cross Road, helping to keep the unique book-selling tradition of the street alive along with the other shops that remain.
