With the tube on strike it might require a bit of leg work to get into town today, but if you do manage to make it down we’ve got a great selection of newly acquired books in the basement this month, going on sale today.

There’s a huge selection of aviation, motoring and other transport related books, plus a great range of philosophy books at excellent prices. There’s also the usual good selection of secondhand literature, history, travel, science, art and many other subjects.

The basement opens at 2pm today, and we hope to see you then!

Sundials, mathematics and telegraphy, anyone?

There are some unusual subjects going out onto the shelves this week, including books on sundials, the history of maths, and some interesting old titles on telegraphy.

There’ll be plenty of new stock going out on the shelves every day this week, and this month our prices are fantastic value, so pop in for a chance to find a bargain.

It’s a classic changeover

It’s changeover day at Quinto Bookshop, and we’ve got a whole basement of newly acquired secondhand stock up for grabs from 2pm. This month there’s a huge selection of classics and ancient history, covering everything from classical literature to Greek and Roman art. There’s also a good range of art and architecture books, and the usual selection of other subjects, including literature, history and travel.

The queue starts at 2, but we’ll be putting out more new stock later this week if you can’t make it down today.

Changeover this weekend at Quinto

We’re restocking our basement this weekend for changeover, which means the basement will be closed from Saturday afternoon while we shelve the new books coming in. We’ll be re-opening on Tuesday 3^rd August at 2pm with all new stock. The rumor is that the new stock includes some good selections of classics and art.

Secondhand thinking at Quinto Bookshop

There’s a great range of recent philosophy books available this month at Quinto Bookshop, all in good condition at great secondhand prices with selections of books on particular philosophers from Plato to Isiah Berlin and A.C. Grayling.

We had a large delivery of new secondhand stock in yesterday, which is going out on the shelves over the next few days. If you can’t wait to get your hands on it, come and have a rummage through the boxes as we unpack.

We’ve just had our latest stock change in the Quinto Bookshop basement; the new stuff goes on sale at 2pm today. There’s an excellent selection of philosophy and history, plus some interesting literature and children’s books, and as usual a good selection of many other subjects.

You can join the queue at two, or pop in later in the week, when we’ll be receiving a top-up delivery of stock this Thursday.

And don’t forget to check out the sale on the ground floor in Francis Edwards – there are half-price reductions on a wide range of antiquarian books, with many more titles due to be reduced this week.

A quick reminder that our stock change is happing this weekend at Quinto Bookshop, so our basement will be bursting with new stock from 2pm on Tuesday afternoon. We’ve only just started shelving the new stuff, but there’s a lot of boxes labeled with travel, history and philosophy, so it looks like those will be the hot subjects this month.

Meanwhile, we’ve still got a great sale on a whole range of antiquarian books, with hundreds of pounds slashed off prices in some cases, and many books with 50% off. There’ll be more newly reduced sale stock in this coming Thursday 8^th July.

And a reminded that our next changeover, the re-stock of the basement, is not far off – 2pm on Tuesday 6th June for a chance to get your hands on the new stock.

SALE! Many antiquarian books at half price

Francis Edwards bookshop, the antiquarian half of Quinto Bookshop, currently has a large selection of antiquarian stock ON SALE AT HALF PRICE.

The sale covers a wide range of subjects, including history, military, literature and travel, with books reduced by over £100 in some cases.

More sale stock is arriving in the shop tomorrow, Thursday 17th June, so come in and have a look through to find a bargain.

Aviation books new in

This week we have a large selection of collectible aviation books in excellent condition new in the shop, including a range of Putnam’s titles. We’ve also had a top-up of basement stock, which will be going out on the shelves today.

Our stock changeover this month filled the shelves with an excellent selection of literature, ancient history, Folio Society editions and a great range of older natural history books.
